Jamb Candidates Must Posses the Following to Score well

Passion: You must develop a passion for your sturdies; passion is like a fuel that keeps you going in the face of adversity, distraction, and so on. You will not advance academically if you do not have a strong interest in your studies. In other words, make an effort to fall in love with your books.

Vision: Following on from passion, I believe we all have a vision of who or what we want to be in the next 5 years or so.
If you have a dream of becoming a doctor or an engineer, do everything you can to keep that dream alive.

Direction: most people lack direction in life, which is why they end up studying whatever course jamb throws at them at the time.
Don’t give up if you have a vision of becoming something in life; instead, keep pushing forward in that direction.

Determination: If you have a vision to become a medical doctor but are not determined, you may end up dropping out of school. Universities are becoming more competitive, and you only need to be determined that yes, I must have 250 or 300 no matter what. Determination is what drives you to wake up at night to read while everyone else is sleeping.

Sacrifice: You must give up old habits such as partying, laziness, and any other pleasures in life that will not benefit you. Always keep in mind that your education comes first, before anything else.

Drive: Always have the desire to succeed, whether it’s in Jamb, Polytechnics, or a college of education. Always be motivated to complete the course you’ve chosen.
