Procedures on How to Register For Law School in Nigeria. The Federal Government of Nigeria established the Nigerian Law School under the provisions of the Legal Education Act of 1962. Former Director of Public Prosecutions of the Republic of Gambia and former Deputy Director General of the Nigerian Law School, Lagos campus, Olanrewaju Adesola Onadeko, is the Director General of the Nigerian Law School as a whole. The Law School was established because there was a need at the time for a Law School that would address the deficiency in the training of Nigerians who obtained qualifications in Law abroad and to provide the much needed practical training to those aspiring to become Legal Practitioners in Nigeria.

Later The Federal Government of Nigeria approved the Council’s proposal in 1997 to establish three more Law School campuses in Lagos, Kano, and Enugu, and more recently in 2009 approved the establishment of two new campuses in Yola, Adamawa State, and Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Follow the steps below to avoid any problems during and after your registration.

I) After converting your Bank Payment Teller to the School Receipt at the Accounts Dept. (Revenue Office Room 003), students should proceed to Registration venues (i.e. Lecture Theatre & Classroom 71) to obtain a unique ACCESS PIN, and then proceed to below.

II) Each student must have a valid personal email address in order to fill out and print online Student Registration Data Forms. These forms are listed below, and they must be submitted with other registration documents:

(a) Student Affairs Form C/B;

(b) Identification Card Form; and

(c) Year Book Form

STEPS FOR COMPLETING THE ONLINE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL REGISTRATION

1.) Click the START REGISTRATION tab and enter your personal email address and ACCESS PIN. Then, open your email and retrieve your PASSWORD.

2.) Click the RESUME REGISTRATION tab and enter your personal email address and password to access the forms.

3.) Fill out the forms correctly and double-check your entries before submitting and printing the forms.

(III) When submitting your Registration Documents, please ensure that they are submitted in the following order:-

1. LETTER OF ADMISSION ( 1 PHOTOCOPY)

2.THE YELLOW FORM (ORIGINAL & 1 PHOTOCOPY) SAMPLE can be viewed by clicking here

3. FORM FOR ONLINE STUDENT AFFAIRS (ORIGINAL COPY)

4. DATA FORM FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION (1 COPY)

5. FORM FOR ONLINE POSTING (1 COPY)

6. STATUS OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM (1 COPY)

7. RECEIPT OF ONLINE PAYMENT (1 COPY)

8. RECEIPT OF SCHOOL FEES PAYMENT (1 PHOTOCOPY)

9. ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IDENTIFICATION CARDS (1 PHOTOCOPY)

a) University Identification Card,

b) National Identification Card

c) A valid international passport, or

d) Has a driver’s license.

(V) Please then proceed to the ICT Department to complete the Biometric Data Capturing Exercise.

(VI) Finally, after completing the Data Capturing Exercise, please proceed to the Medical Centre in the Students Hostel for medical clearance.
